Robertville - Regis Arseneau, 78, of Robertville, passed away Friday (April 24, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Grégoire and Georgina (Frenette) Arseneau. He was a former employee of Brunswick Mines and a member of the Company’s Quarter Century Club. Besides his wife, Catherine (Doucet) Arseneau, he is survived by: Four children: Daniel of Quebec (serving in Afghanistan) André (Nancy) of Bathurst Michel of Robertville Sylvie Duguay (Alain) of Fort McMurray, AB Grandchildren; Kevin, Eric, Mathieu, Alex, Jonathan, Amélie and Dominique. Three sisters: Marie-Anne Cormier (late Edgar) of Petit-Rocher Marie Blanche Haché (Omer) of Ste Rosette Dora Godin (late Patrice) of Saint-André Four brothers: Albénie (Noëlla), Donat (Georgette) and Léonard (Anita), all of Robertville Clovis of Thunder Bay, ON Sisters-in-law: Hedwidge Arseneau of Beresford Emilia Arseneau of Bathurst Carmen Arseneau of Montreal, QC He was pre-deceased by five brothers; Rhéal, Alcide, Emerild, Wilfred “Freddy”, Ernest and a sister; Sr. Marie-Rose. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 29, 2009) at 7 p.m. from Eglise Ste Thérèse, Robertville.
