Bathurst - Amedée Savoie, 77, of Goodview Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (April 25, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lagacéville, he was the son of the late Jacques and Madeleine (Drisdelle) Savoie.
He was retired from Brunswick Mines after 29 years as an Industrial Mechanic.

Linda Barrett (Don) of Neguac
Liza Doucet (Léonard) of Montreal, QC
Several nieces and nephews.
Godfather to Louise and Diane.
He was pre-deceased by 3 brothers; Michel, Venance and Albert.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (April 28, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
