Bathurst - Mrs. Mildred Lebans, 88, wife of the late John Lebans, of Mercury St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (April 25, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a short illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jane (Ellis) Good. She worked at NB Telephone Co., Papper's Drug Store and Zeller's Inc. She was a member of the St. George's Anglican Church Guild. She was pre-deceased by her husband, John Lebans. She will be sadly missed by loving family: One son: Dale (Jackie) of Vancouver, BC One daughter: Bonnie (Calvin Doucet) of Bathurst Two sisters: Edna Veinot of Pembroke, ON Helen Hosking (John) of Oakville, ON Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Ernie, Fred, George, sisters; Dora and Lois. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday (April 30, 2009) at 2 p.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst.
