Cyprien Pitre - 74, of St. Andrew St., Bathurst, passed away, Friday, May 1, 2009, at his residence. Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Francoise (Roy) Pitre.
He is survived by his wife; Rose Marie (Vienneau) Pitre.
3 sons: Kevin, Robert and Stephan all of Bathurst.
1 daughter: Elizabeth Pitre of Moncton, NB;
3 grandchildren: Brandon, Brittany and Mariah.
2 brothers: Bernard (Charlotte) of Ottawa;
William Roy of Bathurst;
3 sisters: Gladys Brennan of St. Anne,
Florence Chamberlain of Bathurst,
Mabel Gionet (Alfred) of Laval,Qc
He was predeceased by a daughter; Angela Pitre, brothers; Leon, Gordon, Jean Edmond "Jack", a sister; Leona LeClair.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Elhatton Funeral Home(www.elhatton.com) 187 St. George St., Bathurst and on Monday May 4th from 9 AM until time of funeral.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11 AM from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
