Big River - Sterling Good, 80, of Big River, passed away on Friday (June 26, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Big River, he was the son of the late Hubert and Marguerite (Smearer) Good. He worked as a miner for most of his life and enjoyed fishing. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Ferne (Allison) Good in 2000. He is survived by: One son: Ron Good of Lively, ON One brother: Robert of Thompson, MB Three sisters: Joyce Carmichael of Bathurst Mary Jean Black (Frank) of Lively, ON Shirley Jardine (Everett) of Big River Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a granddaughter; Ashley Good, brother; Milton and a sister; Valley, A graveside Service will be held on Monday (June 29, 2009) at 1 p.m. from Spruce Grover Union Cemetery, Bridge St., Bathurst.
