Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we the family announce the death of Gervais Albert, 91, formerly of Dunlop, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday (July 21, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Caraquet, he was the son of the late Napoleon and Elizabeth (Paulin) Albert. He worked in construction for all of his life. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Rita (Haché) Albert. He is survived by; his wife, Léah (Haché) Albert of Bathurst. Four daughters; Diane Aubé (late Victorin) of Bathurst Nicole Vienneau (Donald Chiasson) Dunlop Betty-Anne Albert (Alexandre Barnatchey) of Dalhousie Denise Albert (Steeve McBrearty) of Dunlop 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. One brother: Alban Albert (Alexina) of St-Hubert, QC Two sisters: Irène Albert of Montreal, QC Angelina Daigle of Sudbury, ON 7 step-children: Urbin Hachey (Viola) of Bathurst Donald Hachey (Anna) of Dunlop Marie Adams of Bathurst Jean-Pierre Hachey (Ernestine) of Bathurst Denis Hachey (Benoit Perron) of Bathurst Arthur Hachey (Ann Riordon) of Lugar, NB Gilles Hachey (Donna Comeau) of Bathurst. 17 step-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends. He was pre-deceased by 11 brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (July 25, 2009) at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), St. Peter Ave, Bathurst. In memory of Gervais, donation to Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or a favorite charity would be appreciate.
