Alban (Al) Basque, 87, from Villa Chaleur, passed away, Thursday August 6, 2009 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, formerly of West Bathurst.
Born in Tracadie, he was the son of late Sylvère Basque and late Emilienne Losier.
He is survived by:
Two Sons;
Charles (Sylvie) Basque of Moncton,
Daniel of Kedgewick, NB.
One daughter;
Denise Basque of Plaster Rock, NB
Three brothers;
Antoine ''Tony'' of Moncton,
Léo of Tracadie,
Alphonse (Bernadette) of Tracadie.
Two sisters;
Marie-Thérèse (Norman) St-Pierre of Tracadie,
Diana Boulanger (Albert) of Québec.
Four grandchildren;
Mélanie, Annick, Sabrina, Mylène.
He is pre-deceased by: One son; Pierre (1972), three brothers; Emilien, Allard, Léopaul and two sisters; Bertha, Lauza.
Al worked for Enterprise Foundries Ltd for many years.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00
from l'église Notre-Dame du Rosaire.
