Bathurst - Paul Guignard, 63, of Blanchard Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Monday (October 12, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Clément and Emilie (Arseneault) Guignard.
Paul worked for over 35 years at Brunswick Mines, he was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club and the Mine Rescue Team.

Christine Jones (Barclay Knowles) of Janeville
Three sisters:
Annette L'Esperance (Roland) and
Véronique White (Robert) both of Bathurst
Colette Buttimer (Ken) of Salmon Beach
2 grandchildren; Jessie Lee and Keithen Paul.
Several nieces, nephews (including 2 special nephews; Rick & Kevin) and cousins.
He was pre-deceased by a brother; Norbert.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (October 17, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. Donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
