Bathurst - A true gentlemen and much loved father, Wilfred Theriault, 77, of St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Wednesday (October 21, 2009).
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Louis and Winnifred (Duguay) Theriault.

Wilfred will be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Gerald and Sylvia McLaughlin and Jean Claude Guignard.
He was pre deceased by a brother; Edgar and a sister; Jean.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (October 24, 2009) at 10:30 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
Fred would say "Don't cry because I'm gone, smile because I was here."
