The death of Fred Kenny, 80, which occurred Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Regional Chaleur Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Ste Rose, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Laurette (Arseneau) Kenny of Ste Rose, NB
He is survived by:

Donald “Don” Kenny (Anne Jamieson) of Bathurst.
One daughter:
Joanne Kenny (Roméo Des Roches) of Bathurst.
One grandson: John Kenny,
One granddaughter: Linda Kenny both of Bathurst.
The mother of his children: Irène (Godin) Kenny of Bathurst.
Two brothers:
Adélard of Montreal,
Arthur (Delisca St.Pierre) of Pokemouche.
Two sisters:
Evangéline (Fernand) McGraw of Pont Landry,
Mabel (Nazaire) Landry of Toronto.
Many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Amos and Richard.
Fred worked as a mechanic at various places around Bathurst until his retirement from the Department of Transportation in 1990. He was a member of Knight of Columbus of East Bathurst.
Fred enjoyed 19 years of retirement fishing, hunting and camping which allowed him to enjoy the company of many friends as well as his family, especially Jean Claude Morais (Nicole) Cathy’s son.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at Elhatton’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday November 7, 2009 at 11 am
