Pointe-Verte - Rosaire Landry, 61, of Pointe-Verte and formerly of Belledune, passed away on Monday (November 9, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Henri and Eveline (Cormier) Landry. He worked as a potato farmer for most of his life. Besides his wife, Claudia (Vienneau) Landry, he is survived by: Two sons: Stephan (Sophie) of Petit-Rocher Eric (Suzie LeBouthillier) of Bathurst Four grandchildren; Jessie, Melanie, Julie and Patrick. Five brothers: Martial of Bathurst Francois (Madelaine) of Beresford Leonard (Lucienne) and Jean-Marie both of Belledune Jean-Paul (Donna) of Savanah, Georgia, USA Six sisters: Sr. Elizabeth Landry of Montreal, QC Francoise Losier (Guilmond) Rose Ida Bujold (Gérard) and Carmelle Fournier (Jim) all of Bathurst Veronique Nadeau (Marc) and Bernadette Landry both of Gatineau, QC Several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was pre-deceased by 1 brother; Gérard and a sister; Thérèse. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Teusday (November 17, 2009) at 4 p.m. from Eglise St. Vincent de Paul, Pointe-Verte.
