Bathurst - Mrs. Ursula Daigle, 88, wife of the late Leopold Daigle, of Residence Vienneau, Chaleur St., Bathurst, passed away on Monday (December 14, 2009) at her residence.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Alice (Boucher) Major.
She was a former member of the Ladies Auxilary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, member of the Holy Family Catholic Women’s League, Bathurst, former member Ladies Auxilary of the Chaleur Regional Hospital and was a former employee of the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Leopold in 1986.
She is survived by:

Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Daniel.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (December 18, 2009) at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Ursula may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
