James Robert "Bob" Kinsman - age 60, of Eldon Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Violet (Miller) Kinsman and the late Walter Kinsman. He was involved with the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. In his younger years, Bob was in the army and he also enjoyed playing hockey, football and fastball. Aside from his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by: His wife, Barbara Kinsman; 2 daughters: Sarah-Dawn Kinsman of Bathurst; Shannon Marie Alexander of Gatineau; 2 step-sons: Claude Melanson of Bathurst; Denis(Bonnie and son Jesse)Melanson of Fredericton; 1 brother: Ron (Carolyn) of Cambridge, NS; 2 nephews: Andrew (Lizzie) Kinsman and Matthew Kinsman; 1 great-niece: Maya. 2 grand children: Didi and Dimick. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, family & friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 7-9 PM at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), 187 St. George St., Bathurst. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 4 pm from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel. Donations in memory of "Bob" may be made to Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
