Bathurst - Mackenzie “Kenzie” MacDonald, of Beresford, passed away suddenly at his residence Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the age of 68.

Born in Val D'or, Québec, he was the son of the late John Angus MacDonald and late Catherine MacKenzie.

He worked as a miner for most of his life.

He is survived by:

Three brothers;

Bernie MacDonald (Debbie) of North Tetagouche,

Jerome MacDonald (Karen) of Bathurst,

Roderick MacDonald of Woodstock, NB

Many nieces and nephews. 

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (April 24, 2010) at 11 a.m. from St. Mary's Church in Mabou, NS.  Donations in memory of Kenzie may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst
