Bathurst ? Maxwell Ronalds, 74, of Bridge St, Bathurst, died Thursday (April 29, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Archie and Francis (Watling) Ronalds.
He worked for the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill, was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club and was a farmer and fisherman.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Velma (Jago) Ronalds in October 2003.

11 Grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Kenneth; and a brother Freeman.
The body will rest after 7 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday afternoon (May 2, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, Bridge St.
