Bathurst – Léon Frigault, 90, of Victoria Ave., Bathurst, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday (July 21, 2010).
Born in Miscou, he was the son of the late Philarome and Catherine (Lanteigne) Frigault.
He served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Army in Canada and overseas and was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife; Mary Olive (Cormier) Frigault and his second wife; Lillian (Obrady) Frigault in 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Elizabeth (Powell) (Roy) Frigault.

16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday (July 28, 2010) at 2 p.m. from Saint Antoine de Padoue Church in Miscou. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Leon may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
