Bathurst – It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Paula Boudreau, of Bathurst, which occurred Friday (September 3, 2010) after a lengthy battle with Cancer, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 45.
Originally from Tremblay, she was the daughter of Normand and Marcella (Boudreau) Boudreau.
Paula worked as a Nurse for many years at the Chaleur Regional Hospital and she was one of the first five in New Brunswick to be come a nurse practitioner.
Besides her parents of Tremblay, she is survived by: One daughter; Jessica LeClerc (Shane Morehouse) of Fredericton, Three sons; William, Antony et Philippe Gallant, all at home. One grandson; Brody. One brother; John (Tania) of Tremblay. Two sisters; Monique Boudreau (Pascal Comeau) of Free Grant, Denise Boudreau (Paul Thériault) of Edmundston, NB. 5 nieces and 2 nephews.
Visiting hours will start on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (September 6, 2010) at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 12:30 until time of Funeral. Donations in memory of Paula may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or a favorite charity
