Bathurst? Robert “Bobby” Kenny, 62, of Queen Elizabeth Dr., Bathurst, died Monday (May 31, 2004) at the Regional Hospital Center, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Winnifred (Arseneau) Kenny and the late Cletus Kenny.
He was retired as a City Foreman for the City of Bathurst. In his earlier years he was a assisting commanding Officer with the Bathurst Air Cadets and heavily involved in Minor Baseball and Hockey. Bobby also enjoyed time spent at his camp.
Besides his wife, the former Lucy Wilson, and his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by: Three sons: Mark Kenny (Kim MacKay) and Peter Kenny (Eleanor) of Fredericton, and Todd Kenny (Angele) of Bathurst, One brother: Donald Kenny (Mary Claire) of Bathurst, Two sisters: Carmel Daley (late Denis) and Judy Brown (Eric), both of Bathurst. Three Grandchildren, Jordan, Amanda & Amelie; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (June 3, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 and Thursday from 9 a.m. till time of Funeral.
