Gloucester Junction, NB - Livain Vienneau, 82, husband of Yvonne (Lavigne) Vienneau, of Gloucester Junction, passed away suddenly on Tuesday (December 7, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst..
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Walter and Charlotte (Richard) Vienneau.
He was a 43 year employee of Canadian National Railway until his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting and working in his garden.
Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by:
Two daughters,
Pierrette D'iRe (Eugène) of Mascouche, QC, Rachel Arseneau (Edwin) of North Tetagouche.
Three sons,
Alvin (Christiane) of Terrebone, QC,
Yvon (Lenora) and
Michel both of Chamberlain Settlement, NB.
10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
One sister,
Gladys Vienneau of Quebec.
Two brothers,
Donald Vienneau of Rough Waters,
Roger Vienneau (Victoria) of St. Rémi, QC.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, Roland; 2 sisters, Célina and Eléanore.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday morning (December 11, 2010) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 only.
