Patricia 'T.C.' Melanson, 68, wife of Franklin Melanson, of O'Neil Dr., Bathurst, died Sunday (June 27, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Melvina (Boucher) O'Neil. She was a member of the Holy Family Church Catholic Women's League, Bathurst. Besides her husband, Franklin, she is survived by: One daughter: Shirley Shaw (Douglas) of Grande Prairie, AB. Five sons: Robert Melanson of WhiteHorse, Yukon, Barry Melanson (Chris) of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Eric Melanson (Susan), Keith Melanson and Jason Melanson, all of Bathurst. Two sisters: Sharon Comeau of Bathurst and Gail O'Neil Allain of Calgary, AB. Two brothers: Daniel Jr. O'Neil (Carol) of Bathurst and Brian O'Neil (Yvette) of Middle River. Eight grandchildren: Ryan, Brandi, Danie, Tanner, Tristan, Nicholas, Mitchel and Anthony. Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Helena & Shirley; and two brothers, George & Johnny. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (June 30, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
