Chamberlain Settlement, NB - Mrs. Lorina Ross, 91, wife of the late Frank "Francis" Ross, of Chamberlain Settlement, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Romain and Georgina (Vienneau) Chamberlain.
She was the last living member of her immediate family.
She is survived by; Eight sons, Albert (late Georgette) of Bathurst, Cléophas (Diana) of Prince George, BC, Delphis (Evelyne Corriveau) of Sudbury, ON, Aldelard (Betty), Alfred (Leslie), David (Thérèse) all of Bathurst, Normand (Liliane) of Sudbury, ON, Donald (Mireille) of Beresford. Five daughters, Emma Bezeau (Romain) of Miscou, Géraldine Sutherland (late Lorne), Angéline Caron (Denis) both of Prince George, BC, Claudette Yeomans (Trevor) of Campbell River, BC, Darlene Alexander (Donald) of Bathurst. 58 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Claude, 2 daughters, Marie and Delima.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (May 24, 2011) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from noon until time of Funeral. Donations in memory of Lorina may be made to Heart & Stroke Association, Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
