Rough Waters - Anthony Boucher, 76, of Rough Waters, passed away on Thursday (August 4, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Walter L. and Frances (Doucet) Boucher.
He worked for the NB Department of Transport as a grader operator. He was the former Chief of the Rough Waters Volunteer Fire Department.
Besides his wife, Judith (Duguay) Boucher, he is survived by; One son; Wayne (Patty) of Bathurst. One daughter; Judy Ann (Dr. Louis Bourget) of Bedford, NS. Grandchildren; Amanda, Corey and one great-grandson Anthony "MY BOY". Five brothers; Thomas, Edward, Leo, Laurier and Gerard all of Bathurst. Four sisters; Mary Arseneau and Evangeline Doucet both of Bathurst, Madelaine Boucher of Sarnia, ON and Therese Arseneau of Petit-Rocher. Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a brother; Jean Claude, sisters Louise, Emelia and Vera.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (August 8, 2011) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Anthony may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
