Bathurst – Mrs. Arthémise Bernard, 88, of Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (October 2, 2011) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elaine (Vienneau) Legacy.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband Rudolphe Bernard and her second husband Roméo Lanteigne.

She is survived by one sister, Exilda Henry of Big River.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Ben and Wilfred.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (October 5, 2011) at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst, from where the Funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

In memory of Arthémise, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or a favorite charity would be appreciated by the family.
