Bathurst – Mrs. Lydia Scott, 95, the of Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, formerly of Salmon Beach, passed away, Thursday, October 20, 2011.
Born in Salmon Beach, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Ester (Peters) Miller.
She worked as The House Mother at The Nurse's Residence of the former Hotel Dieu Hospital of Bathurst.
She is survived by one son, Herbert (Madeleine) of Prince William, NB
One daughter, Joyce Nicol (Gordon) of Robertville.
Ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
One brother, Wesley Miller (Ethel) of Bathurst.
Two daughters-in-law, Nancy Scott of Bathurst and Elaine Scott of Cole Harbour NS.
Serveral nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Stanley Scott, she was also predeceased by two sons, Frank and Wesley, two grandsons, Kevin and Paul, three brothers, Stanley, Sterling and Richard.
The family would like to thank Claudette Michaud, the staff and doctors and Brise de l`Oasis and the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes.
Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 2 pm from St-Alban's, Anglican church, Salmon Beach.
