Bathurst - Jean Robert Lemieux, 64, of Bernon Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (November 26, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Limoilou, Que. , he was the son of the late Gérard Lemieux and Anne Simard.

Besides his wife, Charlotte L'Heureux Lemieux, he is survived by two sons:

Jean Pascal Lemieux (Isabelle Harrison) and Guillaume-Pierre Lemieux (Lisanne D'Aoust) both of Mirabel, Que.

Two daughters: Geneviève Lemieux (Martin Boily) of Mirabel, Que., Isabelle Lemieux (Claude Arseneau) of St-Colomban, Que.

Seven grandchildren: Sarah-Victoria, Louis-David, Florence, Alicia, Clara, Rose-Éloïse and Emily.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Jacqueline Lemieux-Côté.

He worked as a Social Worker for most of his life and was a member of the Evangel Pentecostal Church, Bathurst.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday morning (December 3, 2011) at 11 a.m. from the Evangel Pentecostal Church, Basin St., Bathurst, followed a reception in the Church hall.  Donations in memory of Jean Robert may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
