Mrs. Maria Soucy Ward, 29, wife of Earl Ward, of Assumption Ct., Bathurst, died Tuesday (July 6, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Grand Falls, NB, she was the daughter of Regina (Desjardins) Soucy and the late Leopold Soucy. She worked for Sobey's prior to her illness. Besides her husband, Earl, and her mother of St. Leonard, she is survived by: A daughter, Demitra and a son, Jayden, both at home. Two brothers: Louis Soucy (Andrea) of PEI and Etienne Soucy (Tina) of Moncton. Five sisters: Guylaine Roy (late Marc), Lise Roy (Yvon), and Chantal Bernier (Denis), all of St. Leonard, NB, Michelle Wallace (Joe) of Edmunston, NB and Helena Simon (Steve) of St. Lambert, Que.
