Hadley Boucher, 75, husband of Albertine (Camden), of Gloucester Junction, passed away on Wednesday (July 7, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Harry and Jeannie (Chamberlain) Boucher.
A local wood contractor, he was well known throughout Bathurst and surrounding communities. His chronic illness over the past few years resulted in many stays at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, where he made many friends who had a special place in his heart.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: Six daughters: Brenda Boucher (Bob Kennah) of Fredericton, Anne Marie Jamieson (Allan), Barbara Laffoley (Don),
Margaret Astle (Christopher), Catherine Arseneau (Glenn) and April Ronalds (Elmer) all of Bathurst. He was blessed with twelve grandchildren: Tiffany, Graig, Myles, Emma, Trevor, Amber, Matthew, Andrew, Crystal, Alex, Abbie and John. Two sisters: Mary Vienneau (Gerard) and Doreen Boudreau (late Ernest), both of Bathurst. Seven brothers: Edgar Boucher (Joanne), Riordon Boucher (Rose), Auguste Boucher (Germaine), Lionel Boucher (Stella), Alban Boucher (Anita), Doran Boucher (Monique) and Louis Boucher, all of Bathurst. Many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by sisters, Kathleen, Alice and a brother Eloi.
The Family will receive friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst, on Friday evening only from 7 to 9.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (July 10, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Bathurst.
