Bathurst - Frederick Gauthier, 71, of Little River, passed away on Sunday (March 18, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Frederick and Bridgette (Pitre) Gauthier.

Besides his wife, Yvette (Vienneau) Gauthier, he is survived by: Five children; Brenda LeBouthillier (Elizée) of Allardville, Suzanne Boudreau (Emile) of Bathurst, Jean-Guy (Annette Chiasson), Jacqueline Gauthier and Monique Gauthier (Paul Levesque) all of Bathurst.  Three brothers; Stanley Gauthier (Florida), Aldon Gauthier and Aurèle Gauthier (Irène) all of Bathurst.  Five sisters; Alice Doucet (Frederic), Bertha Doucet (John), Martha Hudon (Paul), Béatrice Robichaud (Percy) and Yvonne Picot (Aldor) all of Bathurst.

8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday morning (March 22, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton`s Funeral Home Chapel with Father Gregory Culligan officiating.  Donations in memory of Frederick may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton`s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com).
