Bathurst – Alexina Picot, 80, wife of the late Arthur Picot, of Beresford and formerly of Allardville, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Pokemouche, she was the daughter of late Edouard and Annie (Robichaud) Mazerolle.
She is survived by two sons: Aldor Picot (Yvonne) of Bathurst, Fernand Picot (Diane) of Beresford; two daughters: Fernande Picot (Sylvain Haché-Mallet) of Beresford, Aldoria Perron (Josephat) of Pointe à la Croix, Que; her daughter-in-law, Jeannette Picot of Bathurst; her son-in-law, Alphonse LeBouthillier.
Three brothers: Adellard Mazerolle (Léda), Alexi Mazerolle (Alexina), Léon Mazerolle (Estelle) all of Allardville.
Two sisters: Alice Robichaud (Gérard) and Alexandrine Chiasson (Arthur) all of Allardville.
10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Jean Claude and a brother, Alexandre.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.
