It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Elizabeth (Robichaud) Haché which occurred at her home on Friday June 8, 2012 in Fredericton, at the age of 86. She was the wife of the late Leonard Haché and formerly resided in Bathurst.
Born in Baie de Petit-Pokemouche, she was the daughter of the late Basilide Robichaud and the late Julie Robichaud.
She is survived by three children: a son, Robert (Gretchen) and two daughters: Diane (Andrew Forestell) and Nathalie (Claude Robichaud) all of Fredericton;
nine grandchildren: Marianne, Katherine, Sophie, Robert, Caroline, Anya, Julia, Érika and Valérie.
Besides her children and grandchildren, she is survived by two brothers: Jules Robichaud (Lilianne) Baie de Petit-Pokemouche and Gaspard Robichaud (Elodie) Toronto, Ont., nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters: Sr. Hélène of Joliette, Que., Phoebée (late Alban Cormier) of Toronto Ont., Antoinette (late Freddy Robichaud) of Shippagan, Zita of Shippagan and Olézine (late Benoît Arsenault) of Moncton.One of her greatest joys was to visit and receiver her grandchildren, for whom she felt much love and affection. Whatever the occasion, her sense of humor was always present and appreciated by all. She had great faith and demonstrated her love and generosity for all by cooking and sewing blankets and other sewing projects such as her famous little Christmas trees.
Visitation will be held at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, Tuesday, June 12, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Bathurst on Wednesday, June 13th at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception in the basement of the church.
If desired, donations in memory of Elizabeth can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of choice would be appreciated.The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends who have extended wishes of condolences and appreciate the support provided by close family in loving memory of our dear 'Zabeth' that we all loved and will be missed so much. We also want to thank the staff at Elhatton Funeral Home for assisting with the arrangements.
