1958 - 2012

Bathurst - Larry Doucet, 53, of St. Mary's Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (June 23, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Lucy (Roy) Doucet.

He was a former employee with Smurfit-Stone Container. After the Mill closer he received his degree as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

He is survived by his best friend, Valarie Pennant.

One daughter, Lucie Doucet (Jean Francois Doucet) of Moncton.

One son, Marc Doucet (Shianne Curtis) of Bathurst.

Four sisters: Lillianne Jesso of Oshawa, Ont., Violette Legacy, Alice Couture (Lionel) and Joanne Frenette (Eugene) all of Bathurst.

Two brothers: Alfred (Connie) and Roland (Theresa) both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning (June 26, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St.
