Mrs. Thérèse Guignard, 55, wife of Etienne Guignard, of Petit-Rocher, died Saturday (July 24, 2004), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Imelda (Chamberlain) Vienneau.
Besides her husband, she is survived by; Two daughters, Nicole Guignard (Gino Boudreau) of Petit-Rocher, Suzanne Couture (Lloyd) of Beresford; One son, Serge Guignard of Petit-Rocher; Eight brothers, Lionel Vienneau (Lina) of Joliette, Que., Ligouri Vienneau (Antoinine) of Pointe-Verte, Gerald Vienneau (Linda) of Ontario, Alvin Vienneau (Thérèse),Levis Vienneau (Suzanne), both of Nicholas Denys, Fidèle Vienneau (Marie) of Allardville, Maurice Vienneau (Edith LaPlante) of Petit-Rocher and Alcide Vienneau of Robertville; Four sisters, Evelyne Doucet (Damien) and Jeannette Bertin (Herman) both of Robertville, Claira Bertin of Dunlop and Mona Blanchard (Donald) of Sainte-Louise; Five grandchildren, Jacob, Dylan, Vanessa, Dominik, Eric, several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends. Sister-in-law; Thérèse Vienneau of Robertville. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Roger.
Thérèse was devoted to her family. She had great love of children and touched many lives with her kindness.
The body rested at Héritage Funeral Home, Beresford.
Funeral mass was celebrated on Monday afternoon (July26, 2004) at 4:00 p.m. from St. Polycarpe church, Petit-Rocher. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
