Bathurst - Mrs. Kawkab Z. Hanna Easo, 85, wife of the late Abdul Mesih Easo, formerly of Riverbank Cres., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (August 22, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Born in Karkwd, Iraq, she was the daughter of the late Zai Hanna and the late Jamila Yousif.

She is survived by five daughters; Amy Schlagowfski of Bremen, Germany, Marina Stroepken of Bathurst, Akhlas Lippiman (Munfred) of Düsseldorf, Germany, Bernadette Fefferkorn (Andrew) of Ludlow, USA and Gina Esso (Tony) of Ludlow, USA. Three sons; Peter Easo (Mona) of Detroit, Michigan, USA, Emile Easo (Irene) of Calgary and Louis Easo of Bathurst. Four sisters and one brother.

Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday (August 25, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. A memorial Mass was also celebrated in Detroit, Michigan, on Sunday by Father Frank Lalabat, with many family members and friends in attendance, followed by a reception.
