1938 -2012

Bathurst – Martial Landry, 74, formerly of Belledune and Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (November 24, 2012) at the George L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton.

Born in St-Jean-de-Brébeuf, Que., he was the son of the late Henri and Evelyne (Cormier) Landry.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Shirley (LaFrance) Landry in 2004.

He is survived by one daughter, Denise Adams (Rick) of Indian Harbour, N.S.

One son, Marc (Suzanne) of Bathurst.

One grandson, Samuel.

Four brothers: Francois Landry (Madelaine) of Beresford, Jean-Marie Landry of Belledune, Léonard Landry (Lucienne) of Belledune and Jean-Paul Landry (Donna) of Statsboro, Georgia, U.S.

Six sisters: Sr. Elizabeth Landry, of la Congrégation des Urseline, Magog, Que., Rose-Ida Bujold (Gérard) of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que., Francoise Losier (Guilmond) of Bathurst, Carmelle Fournier (James) of Bathurst, Véronique Nadeau (Marc) of Gatineau, Que. and Bernadette Landry of Gatineau, Que., several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Gilles; two brothers: Gérard, Rosaire and a sister, Thérèse.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton, Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (November 28, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral.
