1938 - 2013

It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the death of Annette Mallet of Bathurst, after a short and courageous battle against cancer at the Dr George L. Dumont university hospital in Moncton, which occurred January 15, 2013 at the age of 74, she was the wife of the late Gérard Mallet (1992).

Born in LeGoulet, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Gustave and the late Joséphine (Lanteigne) Roussel.

She will be remembered as one of the founding members of the farmers market, as well as her many hours of volunteer work in Bathurst area. She particularly enjoyed her time with the clogging group. She was also known for her FAMOUS meat pies.

She is survived by a daughter, Ginette Morrison of Dieppe.

Two sons: Étienne (Marilyn) of Alberta, Denis (Priscilla) of Miramichi.

Two grandchildren: Samantha and Patrick

Visitations for the late Annette will be held on Thursday January 17, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) in Bathurst.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday January 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel.

In memory of Annette, donations to the SPCA of Bathurst or a charity choice would be appreciate by the family.
