Bathurst – Anicet "Andy" Perron, 74, of Daniel Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (March 16, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Nedelec, QC, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Marie-Ange (Morel) Perron.

He worked as a diamond driller for many different drilling company’s across Canada, including Ideal Drilling and retired from his career at Brunswick Mines in 1995, enjoyed gardening and woodworking and was a 35 year member of the 3rd Degree of the Knights of Columbus Council 1935, Bathurst.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and will be sadly missed by his wife, Simone (Ladouceur) Perron.

Three children: Lynne Perron (Kevin Good) of Bathurst, Luc Perron of Fredericton and Gino Perron (Suzie) of Saint John.  

Three grandchildren: Andy Jr., Nikolette, Amily and step-granddaughter, Whitney.

Four sisters: Lucille Dessureault, Yollande Trudel (Emile), Hugette Coutu (Florian) and Marie-Paul Gauthier (Gérard) all of Quebec.

One brother, Léopold Perron (Marcelle) of Quebec.  Several nieces and nephews. 

He was pre-deceased by two brothers: Guy, Claude and one sister, Sylvianne.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 19, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst. 

Donation in memory of Andy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
