Bathurst - Patrice Thibeault, 73, of Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Friday (September 3, 1004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, surrounded by his family. He fought a long and courageous battle against cancer.
Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Edgar and Lauza (Guignard) Thibeault.
He was well-known in the community having worked for many years as a Licensed Burner Mechanic making house calls to Bathurst and surrounding area homes on many cold winter days and nights. He taught Electricity at the Bathurst Community College for several years. Before his retirement he worked as an Electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a past member of the Knights of Columbus.

11 Grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-granddaughters, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Pat Jr. in 1974.
The family will receive family and friends after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (September 7, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Mont Carmel), Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst.
