1916 - 2013

Bathurst – Mrs. Margaret Gallant, 97, wife of the late William Gallant, formerly of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away Monday (June 10, 2013) at the Villa Sormany in Robertville, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Six Roads, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas and Elizabeth (Mazerolle) Boudreau.

She is survived by three sons: Roger Gallant and Jean-Claude Gallant (Shirley Roy), both of Bathurst, Jean Paul Gallant (Elizabeth) Halifax NS.

Three daughters: Connie Jones (late Gérard Thibodeau) of Bathurst, Marie Gallant (Rémi Poirier) of Robertville, Jacqueline Boudreau (Gérard) of Dunlop, NB.

15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.

One sister, Cécile Tremblay of Tremblay Settlement.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Alfred and Stanley; two sisters: Annie and Marie.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday Morning (June 13, 2013) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
