1967 - 2013

Beresford - Kathleen "Kathy" Bertin, 45, of Beresford, passed away on Monday (July 1, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness with cancer.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Wilfred Bertin and the late Kathleen (Roy) Bertin.

Besides her father of Beresford, she is survived by one son, Louis Paul Bertin-DeGrace of Bathurst. 

One daughter, Sophie Bertin-DeGrace of Beresford. 

Five brothers:  Jacques, Roger (Nicole Gauthier) both of Beresford, Robert (Judy Aubé), Philippe (Stacey Boudreau) both of Bathurst, and Stéphane (Chantal) of Tremblay. 

One sister, Rachel Bertin (Danny Savoie) of Balmoral.  Several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her mother and a sister, Debbie.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday (July 4, 2013) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St.  Donation in  memory of Kathy may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
