1933 - 2013

Bathurst – Clarence "Carline" Babin, 80, of Foyer Notre-Dame-du-Sourire, Alladville and formerly of Pabineau Falls, passed away on Saturday (June 29, 2012) at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Edward and Leah (Jones) Babin.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Doucet’s Landscaping until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette (Lavigne) Babin.

He is survived by one son, Wayne (Diane) of Bathurst.

One grandson whom he adored, Gregory.

Two brothers: Dennis (Cecile) of Montreal and Elmer of Marathon, Ont.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Aurele, Gerald and four sisters: Dorothy, Jeannette, Rose Marie and Eileen.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.   Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (July 4, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Donations in memory of Clarence may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
