Lawrence Chamberlain, 76, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes and formerly of Rough Water Drive in Bathurst, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, N.B.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Albert and Ada (Chiasson) Chamberlain.

Lawrence is survived by his children: Maureen of Halifax, N.S., Ann (Eddie) Parris, Nancy (Steven) MacNeil, and Eric (Patsy) all of Dieppe, N.B.

11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.

He is also survived by his brothers: Kenneth (Alvina), Alexandre (Murielle), Eugene (Elizabeth) and Wayne (Eva), all of Bathurst, N.B.

His sisters: Yvette Gray, Donna Lee (Tommy) Bernard, both of Bathurst, and Sandra (Cyril) Daigle of Baie Sainte-Anne, N.B., many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers: Réginald and Roger.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, on Wednesday July 17, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral at 4:00 p.m.  In memory of Lawrence, donations maybe made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
