1930-2013

Gladys Brennan - 82 passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at her residence in St. Anne's. 

 Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Pitre and Frances Roy.

 She was predeceased by her husband John in 1991.

 She is survived by three sons:  Wayne (Bonita), Vaughn (Linda) both of Bathurst, Donald of St. Williams, Ont.

 Two daughters:  Ann (Victor Brown) of Cambridge, Ont., Sheila (Rejean Duguay) of Bathurst.

 Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

 One brother, William of Bathurst.

 Two sisters:  Mabel Pitre of Montreal and Florence Chamberlain of Bathurst.

 A special friend, Eddie Chamberlain of St. Anne.

 She was also predeceased by five brothers: Bernard, Cyprien, Jack, Gordon, Leandre and a sister, Leona.

Visitation will be held on Monday (August 19, 2013) from 7-9 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from noon until time of funeral at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), 187 St. George St., Bathurst. 

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (August 21, 2013) at 2 p.m. from the Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. 

Donations in memory of  Gladys may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
