Bathurst – Mrs. Alexandrine Duguay, 87, wife of the late Richard Duguay (2004), of Bathurst and formerly of Sainte-Sauveur, passed away on Wednesday (September 18, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in LeGoulet, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Courté) Roussel.
She is survived by four daughters: Ginette Duguay and Gabrielle Duguay (John) both of Bathurst, Annette Roy (Michael) of Salmon Beach and Nicole Thériault (Nelson) of Saint-Laurent.
Three sons: Roger (Ghislaine) of Montréal, Que., Jean-Guy and Ovide (Mona) both of Bathurst.
14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
One half brother, Donat Bulger of Shippagan.
Two half sisters: Mona Chiasson of Tracadie-Sheila and Hectorine Nowlan of Pokemouche.
One nephew, Maurice Chiasson.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (September 23, 2013) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Alexandrine may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
