1931 - 2013

It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Mrs. Germance Guitard Comeau, wife of the late Emile Comeau and the late Azade Comeau and companion to the late Bert Sidoti, of the Villa Sormany, Robertville and formerly of Pointe-Verte, which occurred Saturday (September 21, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 81.

Born in Pointe-Verte, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Marguerite (Thompson) Guitard.

She is survived by four sons: Rosaire (Lyne Blanchard) of Petit-Rocher, Amedée (Cécile) of Edmonton, Alta., Emilien (Eva Tapp) and Daniel (Johanne) both of Montreal, Que. 

Four daughters: Armance Roy (late Ronald) of Nigadoo, Hilda Comeau of Montreal, Que., Jeanne McKiel (Fred) and Charline Roy, both of Bathurst. 

16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. 

One bother, Amedée Guitard of Bathurst. 

Two sisters: Jeanne Aubé (late Alvin) of Pointe-Verte and Roseanne Gallagher (late Albert) of Bathurst. 

Sister-in-law, Alvina Guitard of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 7 sisters.

The body will rest after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday (September 25, 2013) at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford, from where the Funeral will leave for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. from Église St-Vincent-de-Paul, Pointe-Verte.
