1917 - 2013

Pabineau Falls, N.B. - Mrs. Marie Elisabeth Gray Elhatton, 95, of Pabineau Falls, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday October 7, 2013.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Vienneau) Lavoie.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Women's League, Bathurst.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon "Babe" Gray, her second husband, Vaughn Elhatton, and four children: Eldon, Ronald, Bernard and Janice.

She is survived by four sons: Aldon Gray (Gail), David Gray and Byron Gray (Bernadette) all of Bathurst,  Rodulph Gray (Pam) of Barry, Ont.

One daughter, Florence Gray of Pabineau Falls.

15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

One half-brother, Lionel Lavoie (Mary) of Moncton.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by two brothers: Aurèle, Arthur and two half-sisters: Imelda and Armance.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (October 10, 2013) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St. 

Donations in memory of Marie may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or a favorite charity.
