1953 – 2013

Gloucester Junction, NB – Donald Lavigne, of Gloucester Junction, passed away on Sunday (October 13, 2013) in Bathurst, at the age of 60.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Frank and Marion (Boucher) Lavigne.

Donald worked for the Hydro Plant at Nepisiguit Falls since 2007. 

He is survived by his son, François (Dominique Doucet-Lavigne) of Dieppe; two daughters: Céline Lavigne of Petit Rocher and Mélanie Lavigne of Gloucester Junction; four brothers: Robert (Theresa) of Chamberlain Settlement, Eric of Bathurst, Jean-Marc (Marie-Rose) of Rough Waters, Marcel of Chamberlain Settlement; two sisters: Cécile Savoie (Aristide) of North Tetagouche and Annette Breau (Peter) of Shédiac.  Several nieces and nephews and friends.

He was pre-deceased by a brother, Gilles.

Visitations were held at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning (October 18, 2013) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
