Mildred Roy, 87, of Calgary, Alberta, born and lived in Bathurst for sixty plus years before moving to Calgary.  Millie passed away on September 24, 2013 at the Bethany Calgary Nursing Home.

Millie was the daughter of the late Robert Morrison and Julia (Doucet). 

Millie is survived by her daughter, Lorna Scott of Riverview, N.B.

Her son, Robert

One brother, Douglas.

Four sisters: Freda Foden of Ontario, Joanna Ronalds, Thelma Gionet and Ursula Mosses all of Bathurst.

Millie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lorna and grandchildren: Melanie Scott and her husband, Aaron Rostas, Kevin Scott and his wife, Denise Comeau-Scott; step-granddaughter, Nicole St. Cyr and her husband, Andy, their children: Karissa and Luc of Sussex, N.B.; step-grandson, Richard of Windsor, N.S., many nieces and nephews from Bathurst, Saint John, Sydney, Ontario, Calgary, Moncton and Switzerland.

She will be especially missed by a dear friend of the family, Linda Smith Addison of Calgary and originally from Bathurst.

She was predeceased by brothers: Robert, Gordon and Roger; sisters: Geraldine, Margaret Wood, and Julia Melanson, also a very special niece Cindy Ronalds.

Cremation has taken place at the Alternate Personal Care, Airdie, Alberta.  A memorial service will be held on 2 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013, at  Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, 187 St. George St, Bathurst.  Internment to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, N.B.
