1915 - 2013

Caraquet – Bernadette Gallant, 98, formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (October 31, 2013), at the Villa Beauséjour, Caraquet.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Moïse and Celina (Appleby) Gallant.

Bernadette was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was a retired an Auxiliary Nurse. 

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are Friday from Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (November 1, 2013) at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Bernadette may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
