Beresford – Mrs. Gilberte Doucet, 76, wife of Aubin Doucet, of Beresford, passed away on Saturday (November 30, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Pointe-Verte, she was the daughter of the late Théodule and Eva (Legacé) Boulay.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons; Michael (Ghislaine) Beresford and Ludger (Nathalie) of Dunlop. Four daughters: Gloria Doucet (Jack) of Beresford, Linda Desjardins (John) of Guelph, ON, Carole LeBlanc (François) of Moncton and Monica Doucet (Shane) of Beresford. 10 grandchildren.
Three brothers: Jean Claude Boulay (Monique), Roger Boulay (late Ginette) and Ernest Boulay (Monique) all of Montréal, QC. Two sisters: Clarisse Piché (George) of Windsor, ON and Frédonia Guitard (Bruno) of Pointe-Verte. Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by 4 brothers: Antoine, Yvon, Léolin, Martin and one sister Doris.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (December 6, 2013) at 4 p.m. from Église St. Nom de Jésus, Beresford. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
The family would like to thank Dr. A. Wade, nurses, the medical team in Palliative Care and the Extra Mural Program for the care given to Gilberte at home.
