BOUDREAU - MADONNE, 70, of the Villa Providence, Shediac, passed away on Saturday, November 30th, 2013 at her residence. Born on July 28, 1943 in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Elsworth and Julienne (Godin) Boudreau.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed with NB Tel as the first woman commercial consultant in New-Brunswick. She was a member with the telephone pioneers of America. A people person, Madonne was a positive, generous and a natural leader true to her values.
She is survived by two sisters: Anne Morgan of Dartmouth, N.S. and Gaétane Cormier of Moncton.
Two brothers: Gilles (Loreta) of Moncton and Réjean (Esther) of Montreal. Many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Émile and a sister, Rollande Landry.
By request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church in Shediac on Thursday, December 5th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Bathurst.
In memory of Madonne, a contribution to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac.
